Hey there! I'm Alaina, a former behavior technician, now a UX/UI designer based in the New York City area. I’ve come to enjoy creating design solutions that focus on inclusive and authentic user experiences.  

My time in the behavioral analysis field was crucial in discovering a passion for finding solutions for others, which has led me to UX/UI design. I’ve recently strengthened my UX/UI skills through DesignLab’s UX Academy. This program has allowed me to master the foundations of UX/UI design. It also helped to inform my approach to design by wanting to be inclusive, empathetic, and creative in designing for all others to enjoy. 

When not designing, you can find me scanning the fresh finds playlists of spotify to find new artists to listen to while I cook new recipes. You can also find me reading a fun fiction book cuddled up with my dog on our couch.
